The location was unbeatable, right near attractions like the Aya Sofya and the Bazaar. The staff, particularly Dogukan, were incredibly friendly and helped us get a great deal on a dinner cruise. Traveling with two dogs was easy, thanks to their welcoming attitude.

my stay at golden crown was almost delightful—until it wasn’t. the room was incredibly small and the mattress felt like sleeping on rocks. I mean, how could they not have a good mattress? I also failed to receive any blankets after multiple requests. A simple courtesy would’ve been appreciated. I almost left a positive review, but just couldn’t!

I truly enjoyed my stay. the breakfast was varied and satisfying each morning, and we even received a complimentary room upgrade. However, the elevator malfunctioned twice during our 10-night stay, which was quite inconvenient after long days exploring the city.

It was a decent pick for getting around the area in Istanbul with good value for the price. The hospitality in the lobby was nice, making my check-in smooth and friendly. Keep in mind that the breakfast is extremely basic, so you might want to eat out instead.
